Description

When she was a little girl, Riku was visited every night with strange dreams. Her good dreams consisted of wonder, action, adventure, and exploration of extraordinary new worlds. One night she'd be a pirate captain, and the next, a warrior princess, and the next, a space cowgirl. Sometimes she would be accompanied by her best friends, Sora and Kairi, but most times she was alone. Her bad dreams were made of haunting images of death and destruction, pain and malice. Evil shadows would chase her through narrow alley ways, dark forests, and abandoned houses. In these dreams, she was always alone.

On her fifteenth birthday, Riku decides that it is time to embrace her destiny and become the true adventurer she was always meant to be! She recruits Sora and Kairi to help her build a raft so that they can sail away from their island home to new worlds.

The night before the maiden voyage of the raft, Riku has another dream, this one so much stranger than all the others. The shadows approach her, but instead of wanting to harm her, they claim they want to help her. They tell her she can embrace her true destiny by embracing them. Her greatest nightmare was to become her most powerful weapon.

The heart of this beautiful silver-haired maiden has now been corrupted by darkness. Can her friends save her? Or is all hope lost? Can a certain mouse king bring her back to the goodness of light?

An odd little plot bunny that bit me whilst I was playing around with the fairytale maker: [link]
I noticed the silver/white hair option and suddenly thought of Riku from Kingdom Hearts, and then I thought, what if he was a girl? XD
Everything else in the game stays the same, but Riku is female, and is envious of Sora being so desperate to find Kairi. I have to say, Soriku sounds a lot more appealing, and the plot would probably be a lot more interesting (don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Riku fangirl).

So here we have Good!Femme!Riku on the left, on Destiny Islands, and Evil!Femme!Riku on the right, at The End of the World.
For the Good! clothes I tried to stay with Riku's original yellow-dark blue-black color scheme. I like how the tank top/jacket combo looks like Snow White's dress. KH is based on Disney after all! XD I figure that if Riku were a girl, she'd be tomboyish to contrast against Kairi's girlishness (like how Male Riku is the mysterious bad boy in contrast to Sora being the happy-go-lucky dude with a heart of gold.) That's also the reason why I picked a different hairstyle--and I didn't like the ones that were long and straight. And that's a paopu charm hanging out of her jean pocket.
For the Evil! clothes, there wasn't an "Organization" cloak option, and nothing I put together really looked like armor, so I just put her in black and gave her red and blue accessories. It's somewhat reminiscent of the armor.
I left the bracelet on her right wrist for a sappy sub-plot: Sora gave it to her on her twelfth birthday. Despite the fact that she's evil now and has fully embraced the darkness, she can't bring herself to throw it away. The bracelet is her last connection to the world of light, and a glimmer of hope in Sora's eyes that she will once again return to it.
