I know I have only, like three watchers, and I'm pretty sure one of them doesn't care about me, but I felt like I needed to get this off my chest. Plus, I'm American. I can say any dumbass thing I want.

If you are enough of a dumbass to let a horror movie sway your opinion about a topic/place/type of person then you are obviously WAY TOO IMMATURE AND WAY TOO MUCH OF A F***ING MORON TO RAISE A CHILD!!!

Unfortunately for society, there are those who are too immature and stupid to raise a kid, but they've got one anyway.

So I've come across two messages telling me to boycott the movie Orphan because it sends a bad message about older adoptees. I hate it when people tell me to boycott something. It just makes me want to do the thing they're telling me not to do. I honestly had no desire to see this movie, but now I kind of want to. So I can go laugh at the characters acting like idiots, because the default personality for most characters in a horror films is dumbass. Yeah, I'm morbid like that.

Don't worry, I'm not going to see it. Maybe on DVD, but not in theatres.

So anyway, their argument is that people are going to think that bringing an older adoptee into your home will destroy your family. HONESTLY PEOPLE, IT'S HOLLYWOOD. THEY LIE TO TELL STORIES. The character of Esther, who the story is focused on, is OBVIOUSLY DIFFERENT from regular kids. Just watch the commercials! That one lady says "the orphanage never heard of her!" D8
SARCASM/ Gasp! People are gonna adopt kids who have no paper work attached to them and get their lives destroyed!!! /SARCASM
Honestly, it's impossible to do this unless by some freak computer glitch or something supernatural.
And how come nobody gets on the movie's case about Esther having an accent? SARCASM/ If the movie is going to make you think poorly of older adoptees, it'll probably make you think people with accents are evil too! /SARCASM
And what if Esther was a creepy old lady who lived in the house next door to the family and destroyed them that way? Is anybody going to jump to the defense of old ladies? huh?

Well, that's all I've got to say on the subject. Go see the movie if you like that kind of thing. If you don't, I see something else.
